Sports center and library Nova Icària

Project description

Structure of the library and sports complex. Reinforced concrete frame and metal frame with scale shape. The building had a very complex program that led to the suspension of the gymnasium from the roof of the sports hall. It has one of the most solutions daring, structurally, between the corners of the extension of Barcelona. It was used as a training room during the 1992 Olympics. Action of Manuel Reventós before the foundation of the company.
